Alternative product form locations

Depending on your theme, your product.liquid file may not contain the {% form tag. Follow these steps to locate the correct section of code.

1. Click on the Sections and Snippets folders to show the files contained within them.

2. Within your Sections and Snippets folders, look for a file with one of the following names:

• product-template.liquid
• product-form.liquid
• form.liquid
• short-form.liquid
• single-product-form.liquid

3. Open the file, then search using the keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl F or ⌘ F) for the following text.

{% form 'product'

4. Once you've found it, look for the following {% endform %} tag. This designates the section where you will paste the code (in the image below, the {% form 'product' and {% endform %} consists of lines 142 through 190).
