Edit the Uploadery error messages

Follow the steps below to edit the error messages that appear when a user uploads a file that doesn't meet the set requirements.

1. From your Shopify admin, click  Online Store, then click Themes.

2. Find the theme you want to edit, click the Actions button, then click Edit code.

3. On the left side, under the  Layout heading, click on the theme.liquid file.

4. Copy the following code snippet.

<!--Uploadery app by ShopPad -->
// Change the error messages
window.Shoppad = window.Shoppad || {},
window.Shoppad.apps = window.Shoppad.apps || {},
window.Shoppad.apps.uploadery = window.Shoppad.apps.uploadery || {},
window.Shoppad.apps.uploadery.strings = window.Shoppad.apps.uploadery.strings || {},
// The strings
window.Shoppad.apps.uploadery.strings = {
  unacceptedFileType: "Sorry, this file format is not allowed",
  exceedsFileSize: "Sorry, this file size is too large",
  exceedsImageMaxWidth: "Sorry, this image width is too wide",
  exceedsImageMaxHeight: "Sorry, this image height is too tall",
  exceedsImageMinWidth: "Sorry, this image width is too small",
  exceedsImageMinHeight: "Sorry, this image height is too short",
  incorrectAspectRatio: "Sorry, this image is not in the correct aspect ratio, it must be: {{aspect_ratio}}",
  requiredFieldMessage: "Please upload your file(s) before adding to cart."

5. Paste it directly after the  <head> tag.

6. Replace the text within the quotes with your desired error message (don't remove the quotes!).

7. Save your changes.
