How to make Swatches required

Infinite Options allows you to create swatches. You can read this article to learn more about this feature. 

You can make swatch options required using two different methods.

Option 1

Do not Allow for Multiple Selections. This set up looks like this:

Using this setting, your swatches will automatically be pre-selected when the product page is visited. There is no way to remove the selection and it can only be changed. 

Option 2

Allow for multiple selections AND make the options set a required field. This set up looks like this:

Using this selection, your swatches will not be selected when the product page is visited. The customer is required to select a swatch before proceeding to their cart and you may also set minimum and maximum selections.

By default, the minimum selection will be set to 1 with no maximum limit if no adjustment is made.
